So I borrowed this game from my neighbor and through a bunch of drama I still have it and just got back into it, I am getting pretty far in it and really like it!

The dialog is a bit corny... Well really corny but the storyline is still pretty good, and the battles and such are fun to do.

I had heard that I and II sucked and weren't worth playing but that III was actually pretty good and was the best game in the series.

Has anyone else played it?

I played the first game, not the third. The first is all right, but not that snazzy.

Even though I haven't played it, I always suggest this game.
I heard that the battle system has improved a lot. The three games aren't necessarily sequels, as each are set in different universes(or, I think it is).

Grandia's battle system is naturally one of the best.

I do like the battle system that is used, though when I first saw it the only "battle system" I was used to or had ever used was the FF turn based or ATB system. The first time I saw Grandia's with it's circle and rotating icons I about panicked because it looked so complex lol! Though once I used it I realized how east it was and then I fell in love with it ^^

Grandia III is a decent game. The gameplay's great but the story's cliche. A lot of people say that some of the music in Grandia III's annoying, but I find it nice since it's different from all the other RPG's I've played before.

Grandia III's music IS annoying. >__>;

Opening song was the only thing that was ok, imo.

I rather liked the battle system. But the game did feel lacking at some points. I was annoyed with the characters. I hated them all except for that one guy with the tail, Ulf was his name, I think. He was cool.

Overall, it was an okay experience.

The concept of the mana egg and skill book system was nice. It was a simple way to learn skills and it was kinda luck-based if you don't use a guide, since combining eggs might give useful skills or skills that you'll never use.

Yeah that is why I liked clicking to make it so that I could see what it was. After a few misses I learned what I needed and what I didn't. I plan to get a walkthrough when I get farther so that I can get the missing mana eggs but I can get mot of them on my own without the help from the walkthrough luckily.
