The last fight for Terra took me an hour and a half. I consider myself pretty good at the game too (it's kind of hard to be bad at me, but you know what I mean) and he still kicked the crap out of me over and over until I learned his moves. I can't believe people who say "oh, this was so easy, why did people struggle, lol?" I mean it's not like he's that Halloween Town boss heartless from Days that people struggled against who was deceptively simple. It's a legitimate challenge.

Block + Slide + Shotlock + Elixirs (or Megalixirs) = win. It may be cheap but it works. And it's super easy.

My god, That was so damn cheap, he got me into the air and damn near died, twice, I had no cure so I relied on Aqua's D-Link and her Cura. God, that was really damn annoying. I'm glad he was able to flinch when you attacked him, otherwise I probably wouldn't have won.

And don't even get me started on Braig. He's a pain in the ass without cure as well. I knew I should have leveled over 20ish to beat him...

Lol. Zack gave me no troubles at all really. Same with Braig. But that's pretty much because I was level 27 by the time I got out of The Castle of Dreams.

Also, does anyone know if there are any special commands (Shotlock, Friendship, etc) that you can ONLY get by winning at the Command Boards? I really don't like the Command Boards because they're so random and nearly impossible to beat. I've tried a few times and have never come close thanks to terrible dice rolling. I really don't want to farm Command Boards to get Commands. I'm only asking because I'm missing a bunch of movement and Shotlock commands for Ventus and I'm really unsure where the hell I should go to acquire them.

Lol. I love Command Boards. <3 I'm 7/7 so far! I gotta play on my new Disney Town one whenever SOMEONE stops being a total DOUCHEBAG.

The method I used, which really works if you're sorta kinda underleveled, was to use Shotlocks whenever you see the dark aura thing around him. Shotlocks make you invincible. :D I used the strategy against the final boss fight as well. Finished Terra's story on level 23 <3. Working on getting all the Xehanort Reports now. Kinda annoying I have to beat Terranort again. Dx

See, I tried that, but still died. I avoided it ONCE and got hit by his last slash so I was like woo~ Then landed in a pool of darkness and died. Then I tried again and same thing happened. Then I used Revenge Fang or w/e it is after getting hit and I managed to avoid it. Then he summons meteors as I Cura and dash away. Then the guy decides to use the attack AGAIN. This time I wasn't prepared for it, so I didn't have time to Shotlock and once again, OHKO with NO problem. FFFFFFF- Zack is a no good B. </3

Get Second Chance and Once More, then. They really help. Also, use Absolute Zero as your shotlock. o.o

It's not cheaty. ;-; You're gonna NEED shotlocks to beat some bosses in this game. LS can get frustrating without it.

Then I guess I'll be the first one to do it without using Shotlocks. Every attack is avoidable or blockable, sans none. I have not run into a single attack yet which can neither be avoided or blocked. Some are difficult to do one or the other*, but none are impossible. The only reason I'm stuck on this damnable boss at the moment is because I make one mistake every time.**

**Sometimes I fail to fully dodge his instawinfagblast, sometimes I get greedy and end up being hit by a full braverslam, which is an insta-kill for level 11 Terra. I still haven't decided if I want to just keep going until I get him down so good that he can't hurt me anymore or if I'll just level up 3-4 times and then come back and pwn him better. If I could deal a little more damage to him, I'd be able to beat him muuuuch easier. Damage I take is a moot point because he either deals shit damage or instantly kills me. Nothing in-between unless I get REALLY lucky.

PS. Frustrating =/= Impossible.

Actually, I've seen people beat LS, MF and almost every other boss without Shotlocks. Shotlocks just make fights easier, they aren't really needed. Moreso when a certain boss can't be hurt by anything by commands or shotlocks..

If someone can go thru the game at level one... I think it's safe to say that it's not impossible to not use shotlocks.

So like. I have Rising Rock 2 at the moment. It can level into ??? brown or green. Brown seems to go up by 1 each time I kill an Unversed. Green somehow has 2 points on it, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why. I've tried pwning things with every different skill I have access to, but none of it adds points there. There's that one, the first red one, and the second green one. I have absolutely no clue whatsoever what I could possibly have to do to unlock any of them. ._.

If someone can go thru the game at level one... I think it's safe to say that it's not impossible to not use shotlocks.

And those people use cheaper strategies like Tornado on LS. So they don't count. Sometimes, you just need to be invincible for a few seconds. Plus, shotlocks don't damage LS and they make MF recover HP. So it actually puts you in a negative position if used at the wrong time. But as I said, sometimes you just need to be invincible for a few seconds.

Nope, no Tornado, just Mine Square. Cartwheeling, dodging, sliding, etc, and using Diamond Dust command style. Nothing other then that and Cura's.

Mine Square is kinda cheap too, since LS is mainly charging at you. But then again, I guess it's fine the first time through. I beat him with Mine Squares the first time through, as well. But if you get used to his attack patterns, he's easy as crap without anything but 15 potions in your deck. :D

Also, O_o Cura's? Are you sure....? LS uses Curaga if you use Cure/Cura/Curaga on his battle field, curing himself to max regardless of where he's at.

Brown is easy upgrade, bright green is either Thunder style or Second Chance activations. 5-10 is bull because I got it with Ven and it happened like maybe three times unless it counts every time I got smacked to that much health in a boss fight and then died. The color of the limit is a massive hint as to what you need to do to unlock it. The only ones I don't understand are the black ones. Everything else is simple. Brown for Terra just means beat up bad guys. Each character has their own color, like green for Ven and blue for Aqua. You'll probably wanna level your brown ones to get to his level 6 finisher eventually.

Mine Square is kind of cheap, yeah. Everyone who wins at low levels has super cheap strategies to do so that usually exploit predictable AI. Winning at low levels isn't that impressive to be honest. For every one video you see of a level 1 character beating x boss there are 100 failed attempts at them winning.

I also mostly use Shotlocks to finish off bosses because if you do them at the right time they're nearly unblock/dodgeable. Good for getting rid of that last ~ 50% of their final bar. Meteor Shower is win. I also didn't use shotlocks against guy Iggy is fighting.
