So guys. We're getting in gear for ACIII. Amazon just confirmed that I'll be getting the Steelbook with my order. So excite.

Anyway, (this is mostly aimed towards Val, since he's the awesome AC freak here) how does one unlock Desmond sequences in Revelations?

Pretty sure you either unlock them by playing them or by progressing through the story. I think it's the latter, since I know that my friends waited until they unlocked them all and then played through them back to back.

I recommend doing this since I find the story marginally interesting and also it kind of seems like it's going to be relevant to the information about Desmond shown in AC3 and the plot as it winds down.

Did you have to beat all of the previous AC's to know what's going on in this AC?

It's the end of the numbered trilogy, so it would probably be helpful to have a bit of knowledge of the series so far. That said, Connor's part of the game is not going to require prior knowledge.

Sitting through it is so worth it. Just wait to get the Ezio Trilogy. It releases Nov 13th for 40 bucks and has ACII, ACB and ACR

even though AC1 is repetitive, it still has some of the best assassination missions in any of the games so far

DLC is not necessary. I didn't get any DLC for Revelations, though I may pick up the single player stuff before AC3. I dunno.

DLC for Brotherhood is kind of eh. I mean if you want to get it, you can't really go wrong. The single player DLC for Rev is more Desmond first person puzzles, so... i dunno.

The prices are still kind of steep. Brotherhood's Da Vinci Disappearance is more worthwhile than the Lost Archives, since the latter is ten bucks for basically two hours of gameplay solving first person block puzzles.

I doubt we'll ever see a price drop. ACII's DLC still hasn't seen on. Not even PoP '08's DLC has seen a drop :/

Revelations' DLC was on sale in August for half price on xbox. It's not impossible, just rare.

Ah. I didnt have ACR back then so I didn't know D:

Anyway. Is ACIII gonna be the last of the series? I don't know how to feel about it. I don't want them to milk the series but I also don't want it to end >.<
