Red Rain Duel (Challenge to The Dream)

Roy laid back on the bed, still beside Julie. He grabbed the back of his shirt, currently being worn by Julie, and pulled her beside him. Roy began rubbing the back of Julie's head, pulling her closer. However, after hearing that story, he felt the need to tell Julie about his past.
"I know what it's like not being able to see your family. I haven't seen either of my parents since before I left for the Assassin's Academy when I was 14. I came back home after two years to just find them gone. All of the stuff was still in the living room, everything was still fine, and nothing seemed out of place either. I even went to see if they had been killed while I was gone, since Santa Destroy, California isn't exactly what one would call safe, but there weren't even any medical records. I just hope they're safe." Roy said, turning away from Julie as he told his story.

Wrapping her arms around him, Julie kept them warm from the cold moisture that was in the air. Slowly, Julies eyes started to feel heavier. Feeling a little exhausted, Julie ended up falling asleep in Roys arms.
(Yeah it's pretty short, I'll make up for it later)

"It's alright, Julie. I'll love and protect you no matter what you are, whether you are an alien taking a human's body, or an angel that descended from heaven. I'll protect you forever." Roy whispered to her, moving his hand down to her back.
Seeing how she was exhausted, Roy slipped off his shirt that was currently on her. Seeing that she was still a little wet, he didn't want both of their shirts to be wet, since hers was already soaked, thanks to him trying to help. He was growing weary, yawning with his eyelids growing heavy and his arms wrapped around her. His head resting on the pillow, he smiled as the two of them slept together.

The hut was larger than it looked inside. A sleeping bag, small desk and a round mat was inside, along few beautiful rocks were lying around, small glass bottles with clear blue water, a wind chime was near a small window and some fire designs were on the walls.
Walking to the window, Julie came to the window. She wasn't wearing what she would normally wear. Instead all she wearing was one giant green silk cloth. It wrapped around her torso, over her shoulder and covered her lower torso and one of her legs.
"Hey. What are you doing here?" Julie asked the man. The turned to her, his gold eyes filled with joy to see Julie.
"Sorry I came all of a sudden. I wanted to make sure you were ok. They said the virus was headed towards the meadow" he walked to Julie, rubbing his short red hair.
"I see, so you were scared about me going mutant" she said, wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling him a little closer to her.
"I wouldn't say scared, more like, concerned" he said, smiling and moving closer to Julie face.
They looked into each others eyes and then moved closer to each other. Wrapping his arms around Julie, they started to kiss. Stopping, Julie climbed through the window and sat down on her sleeping bag. The boy joined her, and they continued to kiss. Little did they know, something was happening to the plants. Things started to melt, turning into an gray slimy colour. The sky started to darken and the trees far off in the distance started to lose their leaves. The plants around the hut started to make an strange sound, Julie heard it and stopped, looking around.
"Whats wrong?" The man with black hair asked, looking at Julie who was moving her head left and right, trying to find the source of the sound.
Getting up, Julie walked to the door and saw the plants changing. "We've got to get out of here!" Julie yelled out, turning to the man. A scared look appeared on her face. The mans face has mutated.
He'd grown more eyes all over his face. His whole body became dark green mixed with some gray. His face had grown and his teeth were now sharp like a sharks. It was obvious the virus had taken his brain. When he got up, his body jerked in random ways. All his eyes looking at Julie, he roared like a monster from hell.
"Azen!? It-it's me, Julie" Julie moved a little closer to him, but then realized that it was bad idea when he lunged towards her. Tackling her, he pinned her to the ground, trying to bite her.
"Stop it Azen!" Julie yelled, before chanting, her earth spell and sending a boulder to his head.
Azen squealed in pain, taking the moment, Julie kicked him off and ran outside. Recovering, Azen got up and ran after her. Julie headed down the meadow, towards the town where the virus wasn't coming from. Looking behind her, she saw Azen wasn't too far behind. Tripping, Julie fell to the ground and Azen jumped onto her.
"No! Azen No!" she yelled as he went in for a direct bite from her neck. During that split second, a loud bang echoed in the air. Azen was sent back by something, and Julie sat up. In front of her, the dead body of Azen was lying down on the ground. Behind Julie, there was a farmer with a rifle that was smoking.
"No!" Julie yelled, she started to crawl towards Azen, but was then held back by a woman that looked like the farmers wife. Julie started to cry and kept yelling his name.
Waking up, Julie was face to face with Roys chest. It was still dark outside and the rain hadn't stopped. She figured that she was asleep for only an hour or so. Looking at Roy fast asleep, she smiled and tried to forget her dream. That even happened to her years ago, to a man she loved back then.
Blocking out the memory, Julie looked at herself and saw that she had lost her shirt and was only wearing her bra. She was dry and warm in Roys arms. Resting her head down and putting her head against his chest, Julie dozed off again and fell asleep.

After getting off the plane, Roy waited for the escort his parents had ordered for him for hours, but no one ever showed up for him. Instead, he just stood there with a stupid, ignorant grin on his face, feeling that the chauffeur was just running a little late. In the corner of his eye, however, was a blond haired girl with a pair of red glasses, along with a short, flannel patterned, red, brown, and white dress that went to her knees. Below it, she wore a pair of white stockings, covering a vast majority of her legs.
"Excuse me, but are you lost? I noticed that you've been standing there for a while now like you were waiting for someone. My name's Kimmy. Kimmy Howell." The girl smiled, extending her hand to Roy.
"My name's Roy. Anyway, I'm waiting for someone to take me to the Assassin's Academy. It seems the chauffeur is running a bit late. You wouldn't happen to be going there too, would you?" Roy grinned, shaking Kimmy's hand.
Kimmy simply smiled at him, taking his hand and running out of the airport. Roy didn't know where the two of them were going, but he had a comfortable feeling around this girl. She may have been strange in her methods, but the two of them arrived at the front gates of the academy, Roy gazing in awe at the towering building.
"Actually, yes, I am. You seem to be a nice guy. How about we become friends?" Kimmy smiled.
"Heh, sure. Why not? After all, not having any friends on another continent probably isn't going to help me any." Roy laughed.
That's when Roy woke up, not knowing where he was. After a couple minutes, he remembered the events that occurred to both him and the woman he was sleeping with. In his mind, he was apologizing like crazy, feeling horrible for forgetting about the love him and Julie shared. Rubbing the back of her head, he fell back asleep, trying not to think of Kimmy Howell.

Walking back into the main room, Julie grabbed her tank top and wiped her face a little. Her shirt was now dry, and water from wiping her face didn't make much of a difference. Putting on the top, Julie sat on the bed at Roys feet, waiting for him to wake up.
Thinking about dream last night, she couldn't believe that such thing happened to those she loved and cared about. She didn't have any feelings for Azen anymore, but she did feel sorry for him since he died in such a painful way. Having virus enter your brain meant losing your whole body, causing you to become some type of zombie that fed on the flesh of others.

"I take it you got some beauty sleep, even though you don't even need any? Seems like even the sun wanted to see your face today." Roy smiled, pulling Julie from the foot of the bed into his arms.
Roy held her close to him, wrapping his arms around her as her legs twisted around his waist. He kicked the door open and maneuvered the two of them down the stairs, being careful he didn't fall with Julie in his arms. When he finally reached the bottom of the stairs, he kissed Julie, setting her carefully on the counter top.
"So, anywhere you wish to go, my love?" Roy asked, kissing her hand.

She gave Roy a few more kisses before getting of the counter and unwrapping her wings.
(Yeah this is real fail, but like I say, I'll make up for it in the next post)

Roy gripped Julie's hand and walked out the door, letting the sun shine all over the two of them. He pulled off his hat and smiled up at the sun, letting his hair absorb the rays of ultraviolet radiation coming from the sun. Looking back towards Julie, he pulled her close and wrapped his arms around her, smiling and staring straight into her eyes, even tilting his head forward towards hers. He just wanted to stand there and enjoy just standing there, just the two of them.

They just stood there, being soaked in the suns rays and staying cool with the morning breeze. Even though they were on red road, everything felt magical.
