Battleground: Ancient Catholic Church- A large church, a relatively short ways outside of the Forest of Red Snow.

The battle takes place with the church, courtyard, and 500 acres of land around it (sorry, not good with making up areas...).
__________________________________________________

Having recently come out of the Forest of Red Snow just a little ways back, Crimson Wolf eventually came across an ancient church.

"Hm, this building looks a bit curious, think I'll check it out, looks pretty much like it has been abandoned..." he announced, as he approached the building, then entered into it.

Once inside, he looked carefully around the old church. "I wonder how long this building has been here, certainly looks as large on the inside as it does on the outside. Huh..."

Crimson walked about the church a bit, and at one point, went over to one of the walls, then leaned gently on it with his back, with his legs crossed over each other. "Hm... Sure is a lonely place..."

Man! These guys just won't give up for a second! I don't think I can outrun them much longer! Aria thought, her legs beginning to tremble as she sprinted away.

A grouping of heavily armed guards were chasing her, under orders of her "husband" to take her back to the castle where he lived. The pursuit had lasted the better part of a day, leaving her weary. There were times where she had the opportunity to rest and hide, and this was such an occasion. Ahead of her, Aria spotted a large Catholic church, looking to be abandoned.

Busy thinking of the possible hiding spot, she was nearly caught in the arms of one of the three pursuers, diving out of the way of the guard's desperate tackle, and like a domino, they all fell, leaving her to escape. She hastily opened the double doors, hiding inside of the church for temporary safety.

Aria noticed a man to the side of the main room, sitting against the wall with his legs crossed, almost as if he was in mid-prayer. The odd thing about the man, however, was his appearance. She had never seen a man such as him, appearing to be a black wolf, but appeared to be able to walk like a human and could be comfortably dressed in clothes. He even had red designs coated on his fur mainly on his left side, almost as if they were some kind of ritual markings on his skin.

She heard the man mutter something about the place being lonely, finding it ironic that she appeared when he had said that. Keeping her hand on Typhoon's golden hilt, she walked up to the man, ready to strike in case he was hostile. As she drew closer to the man, she didn't feel any hostility, rather a sense of familiarity, even though she was sure the two had never met before. Instead of wanting to invoke any hostility in the man, she sat to the left of him, Typhoon's grip out of her sense of touch.

"It's funny that you say that, now that I'm here. It does kind of feel lonely here, since it is so far from any kind of civilization and there doesn't appear to be anyone else here. Anyway, my name is Aria Lupis." Aria replied, grasping and shaking the man's hand.

"I really don't mean to be rude, but what exactly are you? You look like a werewolf, like me, but you can change during the day. Plus, you are wearing clothes, which isn't very common for a werewolf either. Are you... just some kind of beast?" Aria asked, not wanting to offend the man.

Before the man had the chance to reply, the guards that pursued her earlier had appeared, their swords and shields in hand. The leader pointed towards Aria, ordering the others to begin their assault. As the men grew closer, Aria unsheathed Typhoon, the trophy blade glimmering in the sunlight like a star in the night sky. The men held their swords in front of their shields, ready to counter whatever attacks she would throw at them.

Crimson Wolf became very alert as enemies had came rushing into the church, and he at that point had known that the one they were chasing after, was Aria Lupis.

"Oh, no... You're Aria, and you've got yourself into this kind of trouble? Why are they after you? You have someone you have to get to, I can't let them bring harm to you now..." Crimson announced, ready to assist her in battle as the need seemed very likely to arise, though he didn't know of how capable a fighter she was or not, but anything is harder alone.

Damn, Canis's sister is in danger, I can't let these people harm her, she has to make it to that brother of hers in the Forest of Red Snow... But I don't know why these people are after her, I better not mention this so long as they are around, just to be safe, in case Canis Lupis has anything to do with this somehow...

"I didn't do anything wrong, I'll tell you that much. These soldiers actually are under orders under... my...my husband. My father, King Arthus, sold me to him so our two countries wouldn't go to war with each other. I actually managed to escape and I also got this souvenir, Typhoon." Aria explained, keeping her eyes on the soldiers.

As they cautiously approached her, Aria focused her energy on Typhoon, the steel blade melting into a clear, pristine liquid form. Charging towards the soldiers, she swiped the liquid blade towards the ground, having the water splash upwards as it struck the ground, all of the liquid moving upwards from the force she used. Then, when all of the liquid was above the skulls of the soldiers, she regrouped the water droplets, reforming the sword above their scalps and swiping it clear through their throats.

"I'm sorry you had to see that. It's just.... they have been chasing me all day and I hate that man. I don't love him at all, but he still wants me. I'm not just some object, I'm a human being." Aria apologized, trying to further her explanation on what happened.

"I...see..." Crimson replied, as he looked at all of the dead soldiers' bodies lying on the ground. He was impressed by how handily Aria eliminated her enemies, and was perhaps even just a little fearful of that deadliness.

"Now that the threat is gone for the moment, there is something you should know. I ran into your brother, Canis Lupis, back a ways, in the Forest of Red Snow, and he has been looking for you, Aria, he is currently in a small cabin in those woods. I think you should go see him, he has been worried about you..."

He actually couldn't help be wonder how his own sister was doing right now, but he wouldn't let on about it. "I know you clearly appear to be able to fend for yourself, but would you like for me to be an escort to guide you to his location so you can meet with him? I of course wouldn't hold it against you if you rather go try find the place yourself, as it quite personal, I know..."

"C-Canis is looking for me? And YOU found him? Is he okay? Please, take me to him!" Aria shouted at him, worried about her brother.

Thinking further, this man could just be lying or just be a spy sent by their father to group them together to kill them. After all, there had to be a reason other than to prevent war for Aria's forced marriage a couple years ago. Walking slowly away from the man, she held Typhoon forward for protection, ready to attack if the man came near.

"You seem a little too willing to take me away. Tell me, why do you want me to leave with you so badly? If you are truly determined to take me to him, then show me your strength. If I feel you are determined enough, then I will go with you. Now, come and prove yourself to me." Aria shouted, wielding Typhoon with both of her palms.

Aimed forward, Aria watched as the sweat from all of the running she did earlier become a part of Typhoon's hilt, absorbing it like a sponge. With a simple flick forward, a blast of water rushed towards the man, emerged from Typhoon's tip. After she felt Typhoon had released enough water, she rushed forward, Typhoon held high above her head.

"Ugh..." Crimson grunted, as an incoming attack approached, frustrated about seeming to have a fight forced on him again. He leaped up five feet up off of the floor, back to the wall, then sprung off of it to gain more height, and move forward over and beyond the attack, then rolled away from Aria evasively when he landed near her as she was rushing toward him.

"Damn it, I don't want you to see your brother with yourself in a weakened state, why do this? But you leave little choice, I don't know what good fighting does here, but so long as you get to your brother safely...because I worry about my sister too, Canis doesn't deserve to have to... Let us begin, then."

Crimson was determined to come out of this as unscathed as possible himself, as well, however. He readied to strike, then rushed forward at high speed, executing a low roll around the side of her, to attempt to thrash at her back.

Forgive me, for the pain that will result from this battle... Crimson had thought while he was charging at her prior to beginning setting up and executing his first attack.

Aria felt a sting against her backside, unable to dodge Crimson's sudden counter. Forced to hunch over out of pain, she reached for her back, rubbing the pained area. Bringing it forward, she saw her palm painted red with her own blood. Then, she looked back at the man with a look of terror.

"The reason I wish to fight is that I don't trust you. For all I know, you could be an agent under my father. If you truly want me to trust you, start by saying your name." Aria replied, pointing Typhoon towards Crimson.

The doors were opened with a forceful kick, a man in regal robes entering from the double doors. His clean, short, gelled back hair bobbed as he approached Aria, slapping Typhoon from her. Pulling his hand back again, he slapped her across the face, leaving her on the floor. Rolling her onto her back, the prince frowned down on her as he stepped down on Aria's throat.

"How could you run away like that? For three years I've been searching for you. I own you now and you are coming home." He shouted.

"Aria!" Crimson shouted, as he charged aggressively and fast at the enemy, knocking him some distance away with a lunge at him, but remaining by Aria's side to protect her.

"Are you alright, Aria? And about my name, it is Crimson Wolf..." he stated.

Aria watched as Crimson leaped over to her, knocking off her assaulter, sending him to the other side of the room. Aria looked up at her protector, the man addressing himself as Crimson Wolf. After Crimson asked if she was okay, she nodded her head, her eyes wide to show how amazed she was when she noticed both his unparalleled strength and agility. Getting up from her forced position on the ground, she looked over to her "husband", lying on the other side of the room against the wall.

"I give you more than my thanks, Crimson. I trust my life with you, since you were kind enough to save mine. I have no reason not to trust you, so please take me to him. But first, how about we finish off this scumbag?" Aria smiled, picking up Typhoon from its place on the floor.

Walking over to the downed man, Aria stood over him, Typhoon aimed directly at his face, ready for bloodshed. He slowly backed towards the wall, until Aria had completely trapped him between her and the wall. Pulling back some of her hair, she showed him a burn mark on the side of her neck, shaped like a circle. Leaning in closer, she made sure the man could see the mark, even if he was trying hard to look away.

"You remember the night you gave me this, don't you, Pablo? You decided to go out drinking and decided to test and see how well I could withstand a burn, just because I'm not human. You are a cruel and selfish man, Pablo, one that not even Lucifer could take honor in having. I know you don't love me, which is why I left you. You can't own a person by the way, so I hope you learn that in the next world." Aria said, pulling back Typhoon.

With her arm muscles bulging, Aria sent Typhoon towards Prince Pablo's skull, the blade piercing him between the eyes. The man let out a scream of fear and pain as the blade penetrated his skull, his blood leaking onto the floor. Kicking his head while gripping Typhoon, the blade slid out like butter. The man was now dead.

"I'm... sorry you had to witness that, Crimson. That man... has done so much to me that he cannot be forgiven. I hope you can forgive me, Crimson." Aria apologized, trying to explain her reasons for killing the man.

Crimson Wolf, at least at this point, had thought her to be quite aggressive, and very skilled. Though he didn't really like to set his eyes upon blood, especially for long periods of time, but he merely looked away from the direction of Pablo.

"It's alright Aria, I just don't like to see the sight of blood for an extended period of time, it...brings back some bad memories..." he replied. "So I have proven myself trustworthy to you? That is a relief, I would hate to be your next victim to a bloodbath..."

He looked to the entrance/exit to the building, then turned for a moment to face Aria. "So, you ready for me to take you to reunite with your brother? I am sure he will be very happy to see you, Aria." Crimson said, giving her a warm smile as he finished, glad to not be fighting each other like they did for a moment not long at all ago.

"Thank you for volunteering to bring me to Canis, Crimson. How do you know him anyway? Are you a friend of his or something?" Aria asked Crimson, wiping the blood from Typhoon as she put it into its hilt.

After Typhoon was properly sheathed and back to her hip, Aria walked to Crimson's backside, observing him as if she was measuring him in her mind. With a nod, she jumped on his back, wrapping her arms around his neck as she wrapped her legs around Crimson's waist. Smiling, she moved her head next to his neck.

"I don't mean to be a burden or anything, but I have been running all day. I don't think I can walk much longer. Can you please carry me to him? I need a break." Aria asked him.

Looking to his shoulder as Aria rested her head on it, Crimson replied "Of course. Yes, you should save your strength now so you can be in as good of condition as possible when meeting up with your brother."

Crimson then began heading out of the building, and back the way from whence he came; Forest of Red Snow. He spoke to her some as he moved onwards, carrying her on his back.

"About my knowing of your brother, Canis, I am most always traveling all around. I encountered him in that forest, near a cabin, which he would appear to have been residing in himself. He challenged me to a little spar, and while your attacks may have looked very brutal, his...fighting style, it was somewhat overwhelmingly frustrating.

Large number of clones, handfuls of needles, large number of clones with handfuls of needles and himself with handfuls of needles... Heh, I wouldn't worry, he is really tough, I am sure he is doing just fine right now,"

Though he kept some of it to himself, that which he did, bothered him a bit when he got carried away during their spar, nearly seriously hurting him physically, and hurt him emotionally. It didn't make him feel very good then, or now, it lingered on his mind, but he would soon put it past himself.

Aria smiled after hearing how strong Canis was from Crimson, which surprised her due to the man's look of strength and speed. Sure, Canis may have been using needles as weapons, but what truly left her amazed was that he learned how to create clones of himself at will. Moving her head next to Crimson's neck, she smiled and closed her eyes, her face curling up towards his neck. Smiling, she gave him a small kiss on his neck, hugging him tighter in happiness in hearing Crimson's news.

"I'm happy to hear that coming from you. Thank you for sharing that he is safe, Crimson. I also wish to thank you for befriending him. After all, I'm pretty sure he needs all of the support he can get, even if it isn't in battle." Aria smiled, moving closer to him.

Eventually, the pair reached the entrance of a snowy forest, the trees being left barren in the winter forest as the snow covered the bottoms of the trees. It had a lonely feel to it, yet in no way did the forest feel ominous. It felt heartwarming, as if the trees were enveloping them in a hug all at once. In the distance, she could make out the entrance of a cabin, a stack of large logs and branches, while a large snow mound was nearby.

"Is this the place where he was last time? Come on, how about we go see him together? I'm sure he won't mind seeing you again." Aria smiled, climbing off of Crimson's back while gripping his palm.

Running over to the cabin, Aria pulled Crimson to the entrance to the cabin, smiling up at him. Knocking firmly on the door, she smiled as she waited for the owner of the cabin, possibly her brother, to come to the door. Hearing some feet approaching the door, Aria began to feel nervous, not knowing what to say first to the brother she hadn't seen in at least five years. When the door finally opened, she noticed the man she had been searching endlessly for.

"Crimson, you came back for a visit? It has only been maybe a couple hours since you left. I see that you also brought someone with you. Who is your new friend?" Canis smiled, observing Aria close.

"Canis, I... I can't believe I finally found you. It's me... Aria! You have no idea how happy I am to see you again. After five years... I finally get to see you again." Aria sobbed, tears of joy running down her face as she ran up to Canis.

"Aria, you and I... we are finally together. I promise no matter what to keep you safe.... even if I have to sacrifice myself for you. I'll never lose you again." Canis cried, wrapping his arms around Aria.

Crimson Wolf smiled as the siblings united, happily with each other again. He felt like his mere presence there was intrusive, so he didn't want to say anything to interrupt their moment of reunion.

They look so overjoyed, I am very happy for them... It reminds me of the closeness I have with my sister and that she has with me. he thought, as he silently watched the two of them as he smiled, those two brought together again after so many years.

He thought this could make up for how he had acted towards Canis before, reuniting him with his sister, whom he hadn't seen in several years. He felt good for them, as well as better about himself for doing for him this good deed.

"Crimson, thank you for bringing the two of us back together. I don't know if there is anything we can do to show our gratitude. Is there anything we can do to make this up to you?" Aria sobbed, hugging Crimson's waist.

Hugging him, Aria looked up to him, her head resting against his muscular chest. She was so happy, she couldn't keep herself from crying, her tears smearing against his chest. Looking up to him, Aria jumped up and gave Crimson a small peck on the cheek, a smile on her face. Turning back over to Canis, she motioned him to come over.

"Hey Crimson, how about we all have a quick spar? I know we have sparred before, but I want to see how good Aria is. What do you say?" Canis asked Crimson, looking up at him.

"I wouldn't mind at all. After all, Crimson told me that he fought you and complimented your fighting skills. I want to see which one of us is stronger. C'mon Crimson, please." Aria said, looking over to Canis, then to Crimson.

Crimson Wolf, looking at the two of them, knew he wouldn't be saying no at any rate, but... "Are we speaking two on one against me? Or perhaps I should say twenty two on one...?" Crimson asked, cringing slightly. "Or are we speaking more...free for all spar? That being for lack of better words." he added.

He seemed somewhat reluctant, but he couldn't just walk away when one of them is actually pleading for it, practically. "I accept either way, but for the sake of the spar, I would ask that this be clarified, though I could take a guess which one would be the case..."

OOC: Sorry, short post, and very overdue, got faaar too much crap going on in my real life to get into details, just trying to remain sane... ~_~
