I'm actually looking for more ps3 games, and this one doesn't look too bad. I always sort of wanted to play it, but never had the chance before. My only problem with this remake is that it seems like the characters don't mesh very well the scenery. They look a little on the clunky side.

A terrible reason to validate on not getting it.
Anyone who enjoys art should try the games out.

Both games revolve around characters that are foreign to the environment that they are in, so I see no reason for you to make such an assertion, my dear sir Artemis.

No, that isn't what I meant. For this to be an "HD" remake, the character look somewhat dated. When I posted earlier, I was referring to the fact that the scenery looked like it was of a higher quality than the character models.

Look, HD = 1080 lines on the horizontal + p progressive all lines are updated each frame
Characters look more detailed when their models have more lines that define them. These lines are not the same. More lines were not added to the characters. The only lines that were changed are the ones the TV shows. Lines no longer are jagged.

Well, thats kinda always been the case with the Ico and SoTC. Both games focused on the environment rather than characters. Thus, why both game's protagonists are silent to an extent.

I see no reason why they could not have updated the character models, since they are touting this as HD.
