I hate you more than Cole McGrath hates water.
In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power... Green Lantern's light!

FFXIV has already been announced, nubsauce.I must say, after I saw a few videos of the fighting system.. I really liked it. Especially the Shiva fight. It seems more my type of RPG. I'm really hoping FF XIII makes me love the series all over again. Sad though that XIII might just be the true Final Fantasy.
Anyway. Read this if you are excited for the game or if you're on the fence or if you're thinking "ANOTHER FF!? FUCK THAT SHIT."
You will shit bricks.

Anyone else think this feel wrong?:
Spoiler
Not it actually looks like a Summon/Guardian Force/Eidolion which would be awesome since it shows that they have turned that ability to fit each character personally.

I have nothing againts the meaning behind it, just the design is slightly... suggestive.

Oh the CG goodness.

To right the countless wrongs of our day, we shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise. What a wonderful world such would be...

Suggestive themes make the game man. Lol

I played for ~6 hours today (I KNOW, CRAZY.) which is basically since I got the game at ~4:00 until dinner, then between dinner and Lost, and then AGAIN after Lost until basically right now.
God damn, is it amazing. I got the 360 version and have yet to see any of this supposed less-than-spectacular graphics. Verdict: Bunch of jealous bastards who cannot admit that the 360 is capable of the same shit as the PS3 (just with 3x the discs).
ANYWAY, that aside, I fail to understand people's complaints of the game being overly linear. Every area which was like a literal straightaway so far made SENSE as to why it was set up that way. Right now, in chapter 3 of the story, the linearity of it has been completely lost. I can't say that a game is linear when you hop between multiple groups of characters. The areas are rather linear, yes, but it's never noticeable, what with A) the breathtaking visuals and B) the near-constant stream of character interaction, battles, and cutscenes. The game is extremely fast-paced and I really cannot say a word bad about it at this point except *shakes fist at Snow*
Anyone who knocks this game is silly. There's nothing legitimate to complain about aside from the obscene amounts of health that some of the stronger enemies have. Even that, though, can be EASILY remedied by, you know, playing the game correctly. :>
God damn I love the battle system so effing much.
The whole effing game is absolutely beautiful (so far) and it took my eyes beginning to dry out for me to actually stop playing. >_>;
