Has anyone watched or read this series?
I watched it with Xanius a few months ago, and my gosh..! I adore it.

When we first started watching the anime, it was kind of weird. It was intriguing, though, so we kept watching it despite how lost we were as to what was going on. As the episodes continued, things picked up a lot and we really got into the story. It's great, it's hilarious, it's a lot of fun, it's very interesting, and so much more.

If you haven't gotten into this series, I suggest you do! Xanius and I enjoyed it a lot and hope you will, too.
I won't really say too much about it; I'd rather let you get into it yourselves and enjoy it the way we did.

For those who are to get into the series: WATCH | READ.

Talk about the series here~. :33

I'd like a small small summary and whether or not fan service is a common theme.

Steins;Gate deals with time travel. A group of friends end up creating a device that can send texts back to the past. This was accidental and the first incident was also accidental. But once they discover this, they begin doing experiments and testing time travel. As things progress, they find that things are much deeper than they could have imagined, and things aren't so simple or wonderful as they thought...

As for fan service, no. Not at all, really. There are different jokes and innuendos in the series, but it's all just fun stuff. That is what I can say of the anime, at least. I don't know if the manga differs at all.

So, I just rewatched this and saw the OVA, and I must say that this is one of my most favorite animes ever. The story is so nice and the character interactions are also pretty incredible. The love story with Christina~ and Okabe is pretty cute too.

A movie just came out a short few months ago, hasn't been subbed yet cause its not out on DVD/Bluray but I'll be patiently waiting for it to see how they continue on with the story. >.<

Has anyone read the manga btw? It's pretty nice too. :O
