So I have the oh-so-hated assignment of introducing myself to the class tomorrow, and we've been given a guideline, but I don't really know what to put.
It looks like this:
My name is Taylor Gott. I am [noun or adjective] and [noun or adjective].
Something about me that people don't know when they first meet me is: [blank].
help
(serious suggestions only, please, ie no "sexy" or hawt")

You can say that you are lovable and a gamer and that something lots of people don't know upon first sight being that deep down you secretly like to maim kittens.
Not that last part, that was a joke. You might consider mentioning your views on sexuality and gender in one way or another, as I personally feel that's a rather significant part of who you are.

To be honest, if I were in that position, I would make a joke out of the second question. That's why I suggested a joke. But you wanted serious suggestions, so I tried to help. :3

Serious Answers:
1. <year of school> Freshman/Sophomore/etc
2. Zelda Geek
3. Harry Potter Superfan
Not-as-serious
1. Pretty Awesome
2. Once an Adventurer until you took an arrow to the knee
3. You lied with your first adjective. You're actually Super Awesome.
And what they mean by 3 is that it's something that people wouldn't naturally assume about you. I didn't know what to say in my class when I was forced to do the same, though. At least you have prep time.

Hmm....
Iggy and Rae have already given pretty standard and easy answers. It's not so bad, really.. Just describe yourself. If you're very funny or witty or sarcastic, things like that should be acceptable for the first answers. You could also answer "gamer," "artistic/an artist," and things like that. For the second half, this can be either quite personal like Igshar's suggestion or more general. If you don't want to say something too personal, either go with Rae's suggestion or say a trait of yours that isn't something that you don't really like people to know.
I don't exactly remember how I answered, but it was probably along the lines of this:
"My name is [Kain]. I am very quiet/introverted and I am a bit of a computer nerd.
Something about me that people don't know when they first meet me is I am [very] short-tempered."
Okay, so I just threw "computer nerd" in there now since I can't think of the other thing that I would have answered. (I would like to be a computer nerd, though. :3) But the rest should be correct. There was nothing wrong with my answers, and when I gave my last answer I even had the full attention of everyone. This led to questions/comments, really, as no one would have guessed that based on how I was/am, but I suppose that means I gave a good answer and did a good job.
Sorry if this isn't really helpful. :<
But, between whatever replies you get, hopefully you find the help that you need. And don't worry about it too much! It should be fine. ^^
