It was actually the first FF game I owned, I still go back and try to finish it when I can (I am a serious procrastinator but I already know how it ends XP). It is definitely one of my favorite FF games that I have played.

Kingdom-Gaming, where up is down, down is triangle, and everybody hates Lexaeus.

Ah... Final Fantasy X... I loved this game. I have at least 3 files with 300+ Hours on them. I've completed the sphere grid on two of them. One of them I never touched the sphere grid. Beat the game without it. :X

Blitzball is <3 as well. A good reason why my one file is over 400 hours is just because of blitzball. All Characters level 99~

I played International Version of Final Fantasy X and I defeated Dark Valefor and Dark Ifrit. Has anyone defeated all Dark Aeons?

I love this game. I've beaten it twice. One file has 200+ hours and the other has about 20 since I started it over before the summer and I never got the chance to finish playing it. The only thing I disliked in the game was Blitzball >_>; I don't really know why but I always end up losing. I've won a total of 1 games.

Ah, good thing I saw this thread. I still have yet to beat FFX. I remember reading through the directions of how to play blitzball and shat bricks. It was like trying to understand math.

Wut.

I don't find Blitzball to be that hard really. All you need to do is set control to manual, then move around, get close to goalie and shoot. Kinda like soccer but Underwater and you use hands.

Always found Blitzball to be the best part of the game, imo.

I use manual, move around, pass and breakthrough people but when it comes to blocking the other teams shots I fail. Score against the Goers was always 2-1. I never block their shots for some reason.

Ahh. That make sense. If you use the normal people from Besaid then you probably won't really win a lot. They.. are very bad really.

I usually went and got a few people around the stadium. Wedge and Biggs were good, once you get the airship then you get can brother. Who, by far is the best for a long time. He's the fastest making him be able to fly by people and score. He also has nice HP, Attack, Block, and Endurance. I get him rather high then level up everyone else afterwards.

I'd still always lose. :/

The best part of the game for me so far is seeing Seymour's epic aeon. (I'm not that far in the game, mind you.)

I really liked FFX. I thought that it was the best PS2 RPG and one of the best games of all time. Everything seemed to go for the game. Story, gameplay, character development. I thought that Yevon was a very unique point to the game as well. I had never seen a religion in a game before (as FFX was my first true RPG :( ) and I thought it was a very good inclusion. In general, FFX was one of the better Final Fantasies.

So I just finished my second playthrough of the game. This time I finished with only 60 hours of gameplay but I got way more done this time around than the last. I was able to get Anima and the Magus Sisters and I got Caladbolg, Nirvana, Onion Knight and Masamune along with their crests and sigils. I also finished Lulu and Tidus' sphere grids which I wasn't able to do the last time around. I still have no luck when it comes to Blitzball really but hopefully I'll get better. And where and how do you get new people on your team?

I believe it's after you get the airship. Just go up to a person and hit square. A blitzball page should come up showing their stats and such. Not everyone will have it of course. Just need to go around talking to different people. Try to get brother from the airship. He's usually a great starter for people. If you use him a lot he becomes really strong compared to all others.

There's a useful guide with tips on Blitzball on GameFAQs. I used it myself to get th Aurouch Reels.
