I've done Lulu, Tidus, Yuna, Auron and Rikku. The others never really interested me/i never wanted to finish them. Wakka wasn't all too useful for me and I only used Kimahri during the battle with Biran and Yenke which he got like 10 level ups from.

Double post...

I won my first blitzball match! Thanks for the info on getting Brother, Kai. He helped me out a whole lot.

Same here. The Dark Aeons and Penance would be so much fun to fight.

They actually are quite fun ^__^ Though nearly all of them are near impossible to defeat even if you trained perfectly to beat them. Dark Yojimbo is one of the most annoying, as is Anima, but all in all, they're really great to test your characters ^^

Oddly enough, this is the first time i've heard of the Dark Aeons D:.

but FFx is one of the better Final fantasy imo. Great story, great characters, and a unique leveling system. It get's a thumbs up in my book :D.

I felt that was a small problem too. Moving from point to point was a bit of a risky move, as with the older games it was more free roaming. Though the story with the game, the way the battles were played out, almost everything about it was great. One thing I didn't like though, was the moment you get the airship, I would have really preferred it if you could have complete control over it, unlike the list of places you could instantly arrive to.

The Dark aeons are cheap. Once, I had to get energy blast for valefor in my sister's file since she forgot to get it. When I arrived, Dark Valefor was there. I didn't know what to do since he killed most of my characters, so I just payed yojimbo 1m to kill it :>

Just get the international version on PC.

Dang, that had to suck pretty badly. I only fought against Dark Valefor. Pretty tough fight. Though, I heard Shiva is amazingly easy. Which makes me somewhat sad.

So I've been on a role with the blitzball winning. I haven't lost a match since I got Brother on my team and I've added a couple of new teammates as well. My team is as follows:

Tidus
Brother
Graav
Zev Ronso
Wedge
Jumal
Keepa

I don't really rotate them all. I switch Jumal, Wedge and Keepa back and forth with goalie. Brother stays as MF Tidus as RF and Graav as LF. Zev Ronso and Wedge are my defenses.

There's a PC version of FFX out? Idk I think he means on an emulator. That would take up so much memory on your computer though.

Yeah, you would need a VERY good computer to even run it at full speed since its an emulator. PC Version would have been nice, though. I wouldn't put it beyond S-E to have released one, though. Since there was one for FF7 as well as FF8....

I went and did a quick couple of searches and yeah it seems like there was no port to the PC aside from an emulator. I dunno if a PC version would have been that good though on the basic principle that you said about emulators. While it would take a good computer to run the emulator it would also take a good computer to run the PC version without lag. The graphics probably would have been better though which for FFX would have been something indeed.

Yes, I did mean an emulator. You don't actually need an amazing computer to really play it. The graphics won't be as great as PS2 of course but if you run it on the lowest setting, you can run it on a Computer with 3gb memory, and a dual core processor with 1.3 GHz each :x

I'm thinking of starting over/start playing this game again, unless my memory cards are too corrupted (nearly half the saves on all three cards >_>). Not beaten a Dark Aeon yet, only got like two ultimate weapons, and I'd like to experience the story again, so I'll probably start over. Is there anything you people would like me to do in terms of personal challenges and such?

I actually recently replayed it but the play time is terrible because I fell asleep every time I played it. So funny, yet I feel I should replay it yet again to get an actual time that measures how I played it. I love how the game makes you use summons more than the previous games. I hate using items, summons, and gil. This game will have you use all three. Story is good as ever.

Yeah I REALLY hate using gil and items. I am like BEYOND stingy when it comes to my digital currency, I have been known to run around in circles for a good 5-10 min on FFXII to get my magic back up without having to use an ether because I hate spending money on buying them.

I actually really like using the summons, they are soooo pretty and they actually have different attacks and can be personalized to match your fighting style.

As for personal challenges I plan to restart my game but this time play through with a list of all possible choices. All of Rikku's overdrive mixes, the locations of all hidden aeons, the way to get all the best weapons, and also the personal goal of NOT running out of ability spheres AGAIN!!!!

Kingdom-Gaming, where up is down, down is triangle, and everybody hates Lexaeus.

Running out of Ability spheres is kinda hard if you use the STEAL command. >__>

You'd think that but I always forgot to steal and when I remembered all I got was stinking eye drops!!!!! I don't even use eye drops!!!!

I also rarely use the steal command shockingly enough...Especially since I have two thiefs O_o

There are also ability distillers that you can buy to help get Ability Spheres. I've never actually ran out of ability spheres and had to use distillers before though.
