I spent more time playing Blitzball than just advancing the storyline or hunting overall, to be truthful. I missed the chance for Wakka's Celestial Weapon, though, I won waaay too many matches after only a few hours. D:
Speaking of which, I never even got Auron's Celestial Weapon despite my best efforts, and trying to get the Sigil for Tidus was torture.
( Tidus was the only one I had with a Celestial Weapon by pure mistake. ) >_<

I dont know how many of you guys have heard about the new Novella (FFX2.5) but it's supposed to set up for FFX-3. I have to say. They did a great job ruining one of my favorite FF entries, Significant Novella spoilers ensue.
The Novella follows Tidus and Yuna after Tidus' revival. A few months in, Yuna notices Tidus has changed and is no longer the man she fell in love with. This is attributed to his unnatural revival. They go on a boat cruise to rekindle their flames of love but they're having sexy times and no one is driving the boat so they end up crashing on an island. On the island, they have an argument because Yuna is being cold towards Tidus and Tidus finds something spherical. Since he's all crazy and shit, he kicks it and it blows up. It was a bomb and Tidus explodes (sending his head flying into Yuna's lap. This is literally in the novel.) Yuna passes out and then comes to to discover that the island belongs to an Unsent summoner who is having sex with the other summoners to create beast cores. Beast cores allow people to become fayth without dying. He teaches Yuna a rite to revive Tidus (again). She does it, but he doesnt tell her that they both lose their memories. So now Tidus moves to Bevelle and falls in love with someone else and Yuna is all jealous and shit so she moves back to Besaid to become a Yevoner. (idek what that is.) From here, she finds out that someone has used the same rite she used to revive Tidus to revive Sin and Sin is on a rampage. Tidus learns Yuna no longer loves him and goes to track her down so they can beat Sin together.
Yes. I shit you not. There are crude sexual tension filled moments between the two throughout the novella. (Tidus tells Yuna he cant fight monsters because her sexiness is distracting not to mention the fact there's a whole scene where Tidus is pointing at Yuna's boobs talking about how theyre getting bigger. What.) I can hardly believe Square passed this off as canon and I'm astounded that they ruined one of FF's best love stories with this pile of steaming horse shit. Thoughts?
Here's a translation excerpt:
Tidus: "...Huh?"
Tidus looked around in surprise. Before his eyes was a ball of tanned leather color, rolling gently on the ground. It was about the same size the ones used in Blitzball tournaments.
Tidus: "A blitzball?!"
Glancing around for the ball's owner, Tidus began to walk towards it. Yuna watched as he took one step forward.
And then felt surprise, for tears were suddenly spilling from her eyes. Her emotions jolted abruptly and she couldn't stand. Crouched on the ground with both arms wrapped around her, she realized that the emotion she was feeling was unbearable sadness. In one moment a loud noise had flooded her ears and a strong force had flung her into the air. The thing which went flying towards her was the head of Tidus, with the look of shock still affixed to it, which had blown off his body and was now lying in front of her.
Yuna lost consciousness.
Unsent: "Remember him. His name... was Tidus, correct?"
An unknown voice called to Yuna.

“I divide my officers into four classes; the clever, the lazy, the industrious, and the stupid. Each officer possesses at least two of these qualities. Those who are clever and industrious are fitted for the highest staff appointments. Use can be made of those who are stupid and lazy. The man who is clever and lazy however is for the very highest command; he has the temperament and nerves to deal with all situations. But whoever is stupid and industrious is a menace and must be removed immediately!”

I needed that. Thanks. I heard the audio from the game, but I didn't completely understand what was going on.

I finally got Kimahris weapon fully powered up. Only took me 3 tries. Never did it before. Fuck yea.
Now only Lulu and Tidus....
You know nothing, Alu Snow.
I'll give you some tips for Lightning Dodging if you'd like. I've fully powered up everyone's weapon before, so, yeah.

I know I would like some tips in lightning dodging, Rae buddy.I'm thinking of going back to playing X very soon, since I've taken a nice long break from it for awhile, and I'm ready to get back in action(provided I can break away from Way of the Samurai 4, lols). ^_^

Dodging lightning shouldn't be too bad. As long as I dont have any problem with lag with the controller. I tried earlier and it didnt go too well because it was lagging. I know the whole no encounter equipment and going to that one crater or running about against the wall. I had done them all besides Kimmy back in the day. It was actually really easy with the HD version. It might have been because I could clearly see where the fuck the things were on this. Back on the ps2, it was kinda hard to see, not to mention the small TV size back in the day...

Lols, ok.I'll do that when I'm able to return to the Thunder Plains. But first things first, get the Celestial Mirror first and then hunt down the weapons, crests(the one's I haven't collected), and sigils.

Tidus' weapon sucks if you didnt get it the first time through Yunalesca. Since you know, Dark Bahamut is waiting there and guards the sigil.
Yea, I remembered that it was there, so I grabbed it before leaving. I got all the sigils and only missing two crests. =X
I had to fight Dark Valefor to get the final Jecht Sphere and Overdrive for Valefor. She uhh... was kinda hard. Im terribly weak, compared to fighting superbosses and such, so it was kinda scary. At least I had wakkas attack reels and his weapon. That did some nice damage. And put auto-life on Yuna for when Valefor did the overdrive >__>; No HP break limit yet so yea.

*sigh* I'm going to HAVE to face Dark Valefore to get that Jecht Sphere, luckily everything else that was important to get in Besaid Village had been obtained before I left for Kilika, the Al Bhed Primer in the lodge, the temple's treasure, and Valefore's second Overdrive.

She isn't all that bad to face. If you have Anima and the Magus Sisters, you can easily beat her. Just make sure both are in overdrive before going in. Additonally, if you have Tidus Blitz Ace or Wakkas Attack reels, it makes it much easier. I managed to down her without having 100's on any of my characters offenses or defenses. Anima doing the retarded multi-hit overdrive can make short work of her. If you hit 50,000 each time with the Overdrive, she'll be dead. Only 800,000 HP. She will kill anyone in one hit though. Since she does 9,999 each time... she doesn't break damage limit besides her Overdrive so... If you get an HP Limit equipment, it'd be real easy.
Also, as of now, I've spent more hours in Blitzball then actual gameplay. lol. Over 150 wins in Blitz. :P I love the game.

It'd be badass if we had a game that's all about Blitzball come out, like they did with Quidditch from Harry Potter.Anyway, it's my intention to get certain things before I face the Dark Aeons, Anima and the Magus Sisters among them.I may still have a long road ahead of me but it'll be worth it in the end.Dark Valefore has 800,000 HP huh? That's not too bad, figured her health would have been way over 1,000,000 lols. ^_^
