This has been in the news for a little while now, and no one seems to care. So screw you all, I'll report on it.
PC re-release Final Fantasy VII is basically adding in achievements and cheat codes to one of Squeenix's most popular FF titles.
No pricing information is available yet, but the Character Booster (maximize HP/MP/Gil) won't be a bunch of microtransactions and won't cost real money to utilize.
The game is going to be a straight up download and not on any physical media, so yay.
I'm assuming Squeenix is testing the market to see how much play this type of service gets. Plus FFVII did exist on the PC, so they're going to get me to pay for this game for a third time. I am okay with this.

No one really does. It's a waste of money, imo. I mean big deal. Achievements. Woo-Hoo. I'd rather see atleast an HD release, let alone a remake (which is probably never gonna happen). I mean it's the same game. Same graphics. Same everything. I don't care for the cheat codes. And I don't care for the achievements. Especially since it's not on Steam
