Korivan proceeded after Tengwa in a huff, pausing at the top of the stairs. The air was warmer here, and much more pleasing for him. He took a few steps forward before a tiny figure darted past him. He sighed and watched the little figure tear down the stairs and start fighting. He sighed and drew his bow, notching an arrow and taking aim at one of the Dark Elves as the little mage struck it. He would track the elf if the wind affected it or no. If he fell into the wall, it would soon find an arrow in its throat. If there was no wall and the elf fell, Korivan would hold off on firing.

He took slow, quiet, deliberate steps down the stairwell, hoping to stay hidden and gain an advantage against the two foes, as they would likely underestimate the little warrior before them.

Gardenc was outmanoeuvred by the Dark Elf and would have chased after him... but he had a brighter thought. He went by to the Inn where he rented a room for the Festival of the Dead and took his few belonging with him: his bladed bow, a quiver of arrows, and a seed satchel.
Outside he was more than aware of the Dark Elves returning to the Palace. He went after them, post-haste.
...
Inside the palace, he came across more Dark elves and some... non-dark elves. There was a stairway that traveled down past his vision. He took up the corner opposite from a tall dark demonic fellow. Gardenc looked up at him and after a period of eye locked silence, mentioned, "Hey. Know if anyone here needs some help, protection, maybe?" Gardenc wasn't too interested in aiding the Cambion. He... looked capable of himself.

Eliot's spells caught the Dark Elf by surprise. Before it could even call on its weapon, it was blown off the staircase, sinking into the shadows with a feral shriek. The party wouldn't even hear the Dark Elf hit the ground. Its shriek would fade as it fell down the staircase. The second Dark Elf summoned its war axe. "Fai ek ivoki nal!" It would then run at Eliot, wanting to take revenge on him for his ally's death. It managed to dodge Eliot's slash, but was caught in the chest by the gust of wind. It was sent over the stairs, but grabbed the edge and managed to climb back up. It laughed a deep laugh before speaking in a low voice. "You... die... now!" It roared before charging at Eliot and swung down at his neck. Should Eliot successfully dodge that, the Dark Elf would ignore him and go after the Wood Elf, the seemingly easier prey.

Eliot hopped on his feet, still flowing with the flighty might of wind. He held his shield out before him as his aura shifted to a deep, crimson red. The blade swung, and Eliot ducked under the slash, driving his sword toward the creature's gut, as it lit aflame.

Should he miss his attack, he would step out toward the middle of the circular landing, aiming to get more freedom to maneuver before hurling a fireball toward the pair of clashing elves, hoping to hit the dark one with burning force.

With the arrow still notched, Korivan let it fly at the Dark Elf that charged Eliot as the boy flittered out of the way. It would aim for the throat, and likely a kill shot at that. After he fired the arrow he'd cast a glance at the elf speaking to him. He looked around for a moment to see who the elf could be speaking to. Usually folks didn't have the courage to approach him.

He coughed gently and cleared his throat, "I know not of any whose protection would be required. I thought the tiny one ahead would, but he seems most capable. If you aid the High Elf Knight, she is like to be further in. Come; The more blades the merrier."

If the Dark Elf from before still stood, Korivan would swiftly notch and fire another arrow before putting away his bow and rushing forward to attempt to join the small magicker ahead of him as they continued forth.

Tengwa readied her sword and let out a fearsome Battle Cry, charging the Dark Elf that was attacking the half-breed. She would raise her shield and try to bash her opponent away from the Wood Elf, then stand in front of him. She wanted this to end quickly. They were running out of time. Kilo might soon find out how to open the door. If he did, they were all dead. If he got his hands on the knight, they might as well slit their own throats to save him the trouble.
