"You know, I've never met anyone else who likes hot cocoa in the springtime." She flashed her eyes to him and asked, "Or did you just agree to placate me?" People tended to do that. It was part of why she didn't much like people. She looked back down to the little marshmallows floating in her mug. "I think I might have put too many marshmallows in that one. I hope you don't mind." She took another sip and hunched over a bit, sliding her knees together as her feet turned inward.
The freshmen weren't very often interested in the trophy room. It was mostly stuff that the seniors would go check out and gawk at for a few hours every now and again, saying how they wished they had been around when such and such villain was attacking the city. They'd go off on what they'd do. How they'd "save the day." What did freshmen care? She scrunched up her face and took another sip of her cocoa.

Basically gave up the mission, what losers, maybe I should meet with the headmaster and petition for a switch. Olivia does whatever the fuck she wants, and Blaine sounds like he's getting Nathan to lick his balls. Buncha gutter sluts. She would leave the room and turn right towards a training room, noticing Frosty was still in hers, she had a chance to sneak in some more training. Unlike these GUYS-I-WANT-FRIENDS-AND-TO-BE-HAPPY-AND-SCHOOL-COMPETITION-AND-YEAH-SNIFF-MY-BUTT-AND-PRAISE-ME. She didn't want any part of this school, the kids, or the teachers. They were all a waste of time. She had to get her powers under-control. This was all useless garbage, like her team. She would notice Desmond's training room was already opened. Tch, figures the boys would dominate, they don't have a pussy for a teacher. With an annoyed Sigh she would hop inside one of the private training rooms, and do much the exact same thing Fossil had shown them. "Tch, 'go take a break ladies, you worked so hard, I am proud of my kids.' Like some fuckin' father. Kek, coddle, coddle, coddle, like some weak ass bitch." Ellie went through the panel, she wanted a real work out this time. "I for one, like breaking a real sweat, and being near incapacitated, that's real work, that's real training, that's~" Ellie's body would swoon to the idea of bruises and pain and doing her absolute best. Being completely spent of all ability, it was just her idea of a satisfying workout.
"Ahh.." She would click on the number 2 option for her. She wanted to face a real mutant, not these inferior cretins. She didn't care, she hoped this mutant would be impossible for her to face, she hoped she'd lose. She wanted a real fight, with something above her. Playing with kids, would only make her like those kids, weak, pathetic worthless. She would save that for Olivia, Nathan, And Blaine's pathetic need for someone to wipe his ass. She wanted to leave this school, and playing house was not going to get her powers under control.
"A good thrashing is what I need. Let's play." She would start [02] - Advanced Combat - 1 Mutant. She waited for the room to do what it was supposed to do. And readied herself in the attack position.

A countdown hovered in front of Ellie's face before she could really process what she had just gotten herself into.

Once he settled down in his room and picked up a set of lounge wear, he headed to the showers to scrub himself thoroughly.
After the shower he would end up back in his room, napping.

Jack slid to safety, only getting clipped by the boss' boot before slipping away. He looked up at her as she called him out and scowled. "Hardly. Me and my man are enough to take you little girls out!" he hollered beneath his ski mask.
Just then, Rose got up and slammed her foot into the henchman's nards. He whimpered and fell over, hard. He didn't get back up. The boss dropped his hands. Slowly he dropped to his knees and covered his head. "A-alright. You win. J-just don't hurt me..."
Just then, out of nowhere, four mushrooms slammed into his face. He covered his head and pressed his forehead against the ground. "I said I give up! Why are you throwing mushrooms at me!?"
The simulation around the girls faded away. They were back in the metallic room, and Christine was walking slowly towards them. She clapped her hands slowly as they would each realize they were back in their normal clothing.
"Not bad, not bad. Miss Lomadia over there is a little bit of a loose cannon, though. Still, because of her quick-thinking you were able to get out of a few tight jams. I do have to confess that I ran the simulation a teensy bit longer just to see him get smacked with those mushrooms." she said with a grin.
"Not a bad first day," Chris continued. "I hope you all feel a bit better now having used your abilities in a productive and proactive way. Hopefully you don't think it's going to stay this simple. We have some pretty high expectations of you girls, and I'm gonna do my damnedess to keep you all on the top of your game."
She looked around the group and nodded. "If any of you want more evaluation or pointers, just ask. Other than that, you're all free to go. I wanted to be the first to welcome you all to Praesent Academy for the Exceptionally Gifted. It's gonna be a wild ride."
The door slid open and Chris returned to the console to check over the data collected from the training mission. The group was free to leave.

Suddenly, she ached all over. "Awh, shit."
The mission was declared a success and they were all dismissed. Jack leaped up and cheered, "WAHOO!" She then clapped her hands quickly and rushed back out to the central hubs to look for the other teams. The boys' SMART Room was powered down and the one Professor Hendricks had opened was just wide open, like hers was. She peered in, but didn't catch sight of Ellie.
A bit distressed at missing her friend, she instead stuffed her hands into her pockets and trudged off out of the SMART Hub, heading for the elevators and went up.
She stopped, however, in the trophy room. She hadn't really noticed it was there, before, since they rode right on past it. It was just a wide, square room that connected the elevators, the staff rooms (including the headmaster's office), and the gym and workout spaces. Nothing special, outside of the seven tubes that lined the walls. Three along the northern wall, and four along the southern wall.
They were large, blue tubes with glass between two circles of metal. In each, an artifact was suspended, as if by magic. She followed them along and examined each of the objects along the northern wall, in turn.
First came a peculiar, blue helmet. It looked cool and all, but really she thought it was lame. The second tube had this really cool red cape that was singed and burnt at the bottom and torn in some places. It looked like it had been to hell and back, literally. The symbol of the academy was plastered in yellow on the cape, of course. Must have belonged to one of the old Headmasters. She made a mental note to ask the current one for the story on that cape sometime later.
The third tube held a long, silver staff which was hooked on one end, almost like a shephard's staff. It looked to be in pristine condition, and when she touched the glass, a shockwave of some kind pushed her off. That hadn't happened at the others, even when she smooshed her cheek against the cape's tube in an effort to see it as close as she could.
She looked across the room to the other tubes but quickly grew bored of looking at random shit. She didn't feel like going back up, yet, so she just went back to the cape again to look at it more closely.

"There are many types of monsters in this world, monsters who will not show themselves and who cause trouble. Monsters who abduct children, monsters who devour dreams, monsters who suck blood, and, monsters who always tell lies. Lying monsters are a real nuisance, they are much more cunning than other monsters. They pose as humans, even though they have no understanding of the human heart. They eat, even though they've never experienced hunger. They study even though the have no interest in academics. They seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such a monster, I would likely be eaten by it, because in truth, I am that monster."

She sighed and smiled watching two of her teammates run out off the room celebrating. I'd like to do that....oh but then what would people think of me? I'm too hyper when I let myself relax, gotta restrain myself. She crossed her arms, closed her eyes and nodded at her thoughts. Shine expected to waltz out of there once she opened them again but instead she was 'attacked' by her teammate with a hug and then asked if she'd want to hang out with her. It seemed the training wasn't over for the day.
"Uh..uh um...W-well I'm free for the day I guess. Um...what would you like to do?" underneath her hoodie Shines abnormal eyes would be darting to Roses face a few second before wandering around the room, then looking back at her. Dang, where to people look when you're talking to someone without looking like a creep staring at different parts of their face?. She fiddled with her fingers and smiled. She had planned to stick to herself throughout her time in the academy but Rose seemed friendly enough.

Ludovic Shoultz reached level 2 and gained 1 SP and 1 PP in doing so O:![/spoiler]
Nate exhaled and pulled off his mask. He stuffed it into his pocket and stretched out a little before leaving the training room. As he was leaving, he saw other students bursting forth from Christine's training room. They seem happy. They probably ended up doing well. They'd probably have been smacked down as hard as Desmond did to us if I was in their class, he thought bitterly. Regardless, he would take the elevator up to the level above.
One of the girls was admiring a ratty old cape in a display case. Nate felt something weird inside of him. It was telling him to go talk to her. No, I don't want to bother her. She seems way too interested in that rag, anyway. I'll come and check out that sword some other time, he thought while eying a long, beautiful silver sword in a display case. He took a step towards the locker rooms to shower off, but stopped mid-stride, frozen like a statue.
Nate, I don't think that's some place you want to go. You have nearly private showering facilities on your floor! He turned around abruptly and headed back to the elevator, taking it to the main floor lobby

"Well, I think it would be cool, anyway." She sipped from her mug again and shook her head. "They were probably just checking the things out. Ignore me and my conspiracy theories."
Kim then sighed and looked to Alessandro. "I think I should come clean, by the way. You really don't have to stay here overnight. You should be good enough to get up and walk around by now."
Jack pulled her face off the glass and cringed at the mess she made. Hmm. Oops? She wiped the glass off and then turned around and watched the peculiar kid walk down toward the locker rooms only to turn around and scurry to an elevator. Nate, she remembered. What a weird kid.
Whistling, Jack took an elevator up to the ground floor and went to go look into the fountain. She didn't really have anywhere to be or have anything to do outside of getting cleaned up, and she absolutely irrevocably did not like taking showers. She sniffed an armpit and cringed. But she also understood their necessity. It just was no fun having to be drenched in boiling hot water for fifteen to twenty minutes. If the water was even remotely on the cold side, it would just freeze and stick to her and would just be an overwhelming pain in the ass, so she was stuck being completely uncomfortable and hating it so bad. She sometimes wished she hadn't been born with these powers. They were just so inconvenient.
She trudged off up the stairs to her floor and stumbled into her room. Thankfully, Ellie had let her have the bottom bunk, but unfortunately Jack smelled like yesterday's old turds, and she didn't want to spread that funk to her bed, so she just gathered up her towel and junk she needed and scurried off to the bathroom to get washed up, grumbling and mumbling the whole way as she dragged her feet and swore under her breath.
What she wouldn't give to, at least, be a normal mutant. One who didn't have to deal with these stupid restrictions. Zoey had said she would go to the pool before she left. Jack hadn't been swimming since her powers activated. She was afraid of what would happen if she dove under and the water froze around her. Her whole body shuddered. Not a pleasant thought.

The door of the room opened, and Ludo reluctantly walked out. Pulling out his credit card, Ludo flipped it over to the interface and ordered some gloves. He was a bit surprised to have any currency at all, but hey, who was he to complain? If it was up to Desmond, he would probably be knee deep in debt that would take the rest of his time here to work off. Speaking of teachers, Christine's class seemed to just be finishing up.
At any rate, a shower was in order, he thought. Besides feeling sore all over, Ludo was just noticing how much he had sweat. Fearing just how bad it would smell, Ludo resisted to urge to smell himself, and took one of the elevators up to the ground floor. Considering his soreness, Ludo simply took his time making his way up to his room. He tried to turn the knob only to remember it was actually locked this time. Good. If it had unlocked again, he would be pretty damn paranoid. Either that, or conclude that one of his roomies was pretty absent-minded.
Grabbing a towel, Ludo left the room, leaving it unlocked since the showers were just around the corner. He would be back soon anyways.

"Sure. Um...lead the way..." Shine stretched her arm out to the exit and would follow Rose when she would start walking. She had no idea where they would go or what they would talk about, though. Shine wasn't sure just what you would talk about with people. Truthfully she had an idea on what to say, she was just to shy to start conversations.
