I'm going to be leaving for quite some time. How long, I don't know.
To make a long, depressing story short; My mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer awhile ago. It is very painfully clear that she is not going to make it.
I'm going to stay with her until she passes and I will be gone for awhile after that. I'm talking a two month minimum.
Yes, Tori knew.
Yes, I told her not to tell anyone.
Why? Because I don't want to look like an attention whore.

At least, we hope we will. I certainly do. But don't be in a rush, family is most important, as every one of my Italian ancestors would tell you.

Yeah, I would really rather you be an attention whore than keep us in the dark. We're your friends and even, you willing, your family. I'd gladly call you a brother even though I am unable to be with you in your endeavor . My prayers are for your mother, yourself, and all those affected by this. Life can be challenging when death knocks on the door. You need to be with her and I'm glad you choose to do this. We'll miss you but we know you'll come back. Time with your mother does not have that privilege. Carry on Epic, carry on.

You don't need me to tell you to know that my thought are with you, your mother and your family. You've always got my support. Take as much as time as you can dude and I hope in the end you feel ok.
