Have any of you heathens gone to see Tarantino's newest movie? It's pretty awesome. Like. Super Awesome. Not my favorite Tarantino movie, but this one is easily top 3. Easily.

Premise of the movie is that it's a western set in pre civil war era. A white german dentist frees a slave because the slave would be able to help him identify his current bounty (since he's actually a bounty hunter and not a dentist). After he's freed, Django goes on a quest to find his wife :3

It's quite delicious, I recommend people to check it out if you get a chance.

I saw previews for this and I was generally interested in it. My friends said it was pretty awesome so I'm going to check it out for sure.

Oh lame this was made yesterday? I went to see it at 6:40Pm today =_=

Quite frankly some of his best work as of late, I haven't seen a ton of his movies, and this move was long as heck! But the over use of the N word was quite entertaining. For instance, it was used like "brother" at times as well as "lesser being" And then it was used in the common place african-american way like "Dat crazy ass N word" I enjoyed ALL of it. Very hilarious parts, very raw rather painful parts (African american kinda here so I felt something a bit more grit and harsher not that you guys didn't either if you have seen it). I enjoyed the story. Tarantino's talents definitely lie in these types of movies. I honestly felt like I was falling in love with Kill Bill all over again.

This movie has all style and all up in your face about it. LOOOOOOVED it, definitely gonna see it again (after Les Mis)

Yeah, well this was set during a time where that was the common word. It's funny because by the middle of the movie i was pretty desensitized towards the word. I think you're supposed to feel uncomfortable because a big focus of the film is on slaves and racial tension between whites and blacks during an "uncivilized" yet still so civilized time in American history.

I wondered why any black man would want Jamie Foxx's role, but by the middle of the movie I was thinking WHO WOULDNT want his role!? Django is fucking awesome. Sam Jackson's character was super awesome as well and you really got the whole... scope of racial tensions. Whites on white, whites on black, blacks on blacks, and everything in-between with social dynamics. It's a really fun film about a lot of ugly subject matter.

I totally agree! It's ridiculous, cus if you think about it, it was incredibly accurate to the heirarchy of groups of people, EVEN DOWN TO THE WAY THE BLACK SLAVES VIEWED EACHOTHER IN POSITION AND HOW THEY WERE NEXT TO WHITE FOLK >__<; It's insane how ridiculously well done this movie was x.x I felt all types of LOL's and uncomfortable, as well as all types of suspense and vdmbfdadfkjd too flipping awesome x.x. Sam's character was soooooo well done, ngl I thought of uncle Ruckus from boondocks lol.

He needs to look at all the things he did with this movie and make another amazing movie like this, WESTERN STYLE WITH BLACK PEOPLE AND IT'S ACTUALLY WELL DONE!? THE HELL YOU PREACH!!!!
