[PREMADES RELEASE: 7/3/13] OVERDUE AND ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
You awaken to the sound of thunder and the feeling of raindrops on your cheeks
As you crack open your eyes you see a dull colour
What was the colour?
Ah yes, grey
You can hear the sound of more thunder and more rain starts to fall
As you listen to the sound you realize you have no idea what is going on,
Who you are,
What your purpose is.
All you can remember is your name
What happens now?
Wandering Masses
A roleplay with endless possibilities.
A roleplay where the players can almost completely shape their story as they wander along.
A roleplay where you can discover and/or create.
This is Wandering Masses
You
Before you read on, it is advised that you create a log in the a side thread (which will be opened soon) which you continuously update as your character goes along. Fill it out as if you were filling out a template.
If You Wish To Be Fully Creative: At the beginning of this roleplay you will start as an nearly empty and blank character. Take note of the word nearly, you may have decided before hand who and what your character is. Whatever you have planned, all that is required and should be known is your name. Treat yourself as if you have amnesia. As you progress through the interactive outer world you may find objects which help you shape your character. For example, a mirror which gives you a moment to examine your facial features. To give everyone a face to the name. Another one would a tattered hat which may be a new a new clothing accessory for you. Your personality if like your outer appearance. As you progress along each little personality trait your character seems to show when interacting will be a personality trait your character owns. You may be aggressive towards people most of the time, that show that personality trait you own is an aggressiveness. Finally, items. If you collect items along the way, you might as well be realistic. You will not find a sword on the ground, or nearly kind of weapon. Neither would you find a burger stall in a cave and if you did you might as well be suspicious of what is inside those burgers. Any item in these times have to either be bought or stolen, if you wish to steal. You may find a friendly somewhere though. Conditions of continuing your own is the basic idea of realism. A wish for you to be realistic is all that is desired. Going beyond realism may result in strikes or a simply expulsion.
If You Wish To Enjoy The Ride: Before you are thrown into the world you may decide you do not truly wish to go along with your own plans. You may wish to discover the world as it presents itself. If you wish to do so then you may sign up for a Premade name. The Premades are characters with a fully loaded story. You choose a name, or one will be assigned, and you enter the world with such a name. People you meet along the way will have their own hints about the kind of person you where. Some may know more than other, some may no nothing at all. The world will show who you once were, your decision to stick with your past self as you discover it is up to you.
The World
External: The external world, now that is something that is mostly created by the GM. The GM will fully describe the enviroment you are in the external world (worlds outside buildings, caves etc.). Forests, cities, people, they will all be created and thrown into the world by the GM. What happens when you interact with them is a different story.
Internal: If you wish to enter a building you may wish to create a internal world all on your own. If you do not wish for a GM to create a world inside a building you may create it yourself. There are conditions of course. Realism is wished for. You may not stumble upon a random "gun room" at random. Obviously such places would be locked up. You must also be very descriptive. Do not worry there are exceptions. A basic description of what you may find in an internal world will suffice, though details are encouraged for your own experience and enjoyment.
Interaction (Important)
Overall interaction is nearly entirely up to you. If you wish to interact with a NCP created by the GM or yourself you have the option of allowing a GM to control that player, or you may control them yourselves. If you wish to control them yourselves it is suggested you decide their details yourself and add realism into their character as well. If another player interacts with them you continue to control them if you had done so originally. If the GM controlled them of course the GM will continue to control them. Unfortunately if you wish to take a Premade then you have no such control over NCP's.
If you are interacting with the world realism is to be added as well. You must not make it so that a door was magically opened. You cannot pick a lock with a thin piece of paper. You also cannot magically walk into heavily guarded areas (such as a military base) without encountering troubles. Please keep within the boundaries of common sense and logic when interacting with the world. Sometimes pushing boundaries may be accepted but how far you push such boundaries will be noted. Pushing boundaries far too much may result in strikes and then/or instant expulsion.
Over all though, it is up to you how your character makes their way in the world. From a blank person to a full character all depends on how much you interact. You make things happen. You decide your characters fate.
RULES
1. You must not control other players
2. Realism is a must and pushing the boundaries of logic will be noted
3. Romance and violence is permitted but you must keep everything M rated (you may have vague suggestions of scenes but nothing crude and pornographic must be show that may affect people in negative ways)
4. Activity is not forced but it is expected that you post at least every two days unless you have a situation which has been properly explained and reported in the OOC.
5. Supernatural happenings are not allowed. There may be exceptions if you ask but they must be mild. For example you may not create a human who has supernatural mutations or "powers". You may make mythical creature, however this must still be requested over a PM to the GM.
6. Spelling and grammar. This is a not strict thing but a general rule that should be kept in mind. Everyone makes mistakes (no doubt you have probably spotted many in this OOC) and that is alright. When going along the lines of spelling and grammar we expect proper language to be used. Proper language would be anything which is not considered to be "txt" language.
