One of the greatest role playing series known to mankind, SMT is known for exploring themes that are often considered "taboo" or too mature for your conventional RPG. 

 

Anyway! Enough of that. Got some goodies for you guys! 3 Brand Spanking New Persona games announced today! Have a look see:

 

 

 

We'll start with the most underwhelming of the three. 

 

 

A dancing simulator from the makers of the Hatsune Miku Project (or whatever its called...), P4D is set 2 years after Persona 4 and follows Rise Kujikawa's return to stardom. It will be released for the Vita exclusively in 2014 in Japan. Check out the trailer below. It's pretty clear this is aimed at the japanese demographic.

 

 

 

 

Second up, we have Persona Q:Shadow of the Labyrinth. The series' first true departure from the signature Sony platform, follows the cast and crew from BOTH Persona 3 and Persona 4 as they team up to tackle a new mystery. The game has a distinct chibi art style not typical of the series. Whether it is part of the canon is to be determined. After all, it has Arisato! 

 

 

 

Well do ya? The news we've been waiting for! PERSONA 5 IS COMING BITCHESSSSSS. We're looking at a late 2014 release in Japan on the PS3 and fingers crossed, a Q1 release in USA! Check out the first teaser!

Am I the only other Persona fan here? o_o Regardless I'm excited to see our favorite cabbage man show up for the second fighting game. And Persona 5 looks like it'll be interesting, that's for sure. Not so excited for the um...dancing game. I don't even know why that's even going to a be a thing.

Yeah, not looking forward to P4D. Kinda disappointed PQ:SoL isn't coming on the Vita since I felt the success of P4G kinda warranted a true Persona RPG for the Vita. Regardless, Persona 5 looks like it will explore some really interesting themes. Can't wait till 2015 or whenever we do get it.

Can't say I ever got my hands on P4G do to lack of and not so much in favor of the vita, But I might consider grabbing one since no on really likes the psp anymore. I'm actually surprised a Persona game is coming out on a nintendo system if anything, and luckily I own said system. 8D Hopefully it lives up to both 3 and 4 at the very least. I still need to beat p3p...

There's no car or roadtrip ANYWHERE in that trailer. How the fuck can you honestly tell me that it looks better than FF15!? The menus are a total mess and there's way too much color in everything. It's far from realistic :\ Plus, what's with all the stupid masks? Dumb design choices everywhere.
