I still hop on Duodecim from time to time for online fun times, but I'm nowhere near sold on this, looks unrefined and is clearly still beta. Will it even try to improve the gameplay?

Im not a fan of the new art direction for this title... The art style for the previous Dissidia games was pretty good and it meshed all the different universes together really well. It was very Kingdom Hearts-y (obvs because it was designed by Nomura)
In this game, Cloud looks so... weird... Only Warrior of Light looks like I think he should.
Idk not sold on this yet. We'll have to see some gameplay. If it's for arcades, I wouldn't expect a great story and a lot of innovations.

Does anyone know the specs on these arcades? Also, I noticed the characters stayed near the ground, just for the trailer, or will it be enforced to stay reasonable low?
Also, Yuko, try amazon? the ps store if you prefer a digital copy.

I figured that it was sort of just a beta really. Not anything of what the final product should look like. It seemed a bit... unpolished? I guess you can say. I don't mind it too much really.
I'd love to see it ported to Vita but PS4 seems more likely. Both would be great however. I don't know if it'll ever happen but it might depending on how well the game does. =X
People have been wanthing more Dissidia and with how well the PS4 is doing, nows the best time to release one for PS4 and get some really nice multiplayer going for it.

FUCK.YES. I had heard rumors a year ago that Square was making a new Dissidia, but nothing concrete was ever revealed.Until now, wahoo!!! XD After seeing the trailer just now I see great potential in it, and like the majority here I think a PS4 release is highly probable too.Even though it's just a beta, to me the graphics are starting to look like a mix between Duodecim's CGI cutcenes and some of the graphics in the KH3 trailer.Keep up the good work Square, looking forward to seeing how much it's improved later. Not all that many months ago I played Duodecim again, and decided to erase my game file and start from scratch, forgot where I left off at on my new playthrough. So do you guys think all the playable characters will return? And what new characters will we see, aside from Y'shtola?

The car liberates the person and the game.

Any thoughts on 2/3 person attacks?

So true, I remember myriad situations in duodecim where you would release an assist to punish a player you couldn't hit yourself because they were stuck in an animation. Since most attacks will carry over in this, I feel like ganging up will be very easy.

Yea, that highly suggests a PS4 release at some point. Might as well get money off the arcade market in Japan first I suppose since its somewhat big there. It'll sell fairly well in the states and Europe on the PS4 though.
I think it'll be pretty nice and actually do rather decently if made for the PS4 cause you can easily play online with it compared to how the PSP was...
