Anyone else played this awesome action, JRPG for the Nintendo DS? I can't believe a thread hasn't been posted for this unique title.

For those of you wondering, TWEWY/IAWW takes place in the city of Shibuya, Japan, where you play as Neku. However, he is forced into a game called The Reapers Game, where Players, like Neku, are forced to partner up and fight for survival for a week. The winners get brought back to life, while the losers are erased.

So, anyone willing to discuss this game?

I have a good portion of that game fully completed. Only need a few more items and pins, but grinding gets to me after a while. it's a great game with rumors of a sequel in the words. One of the best games on the DS hands down.

This game is any completionist's dream, since there is SOOO much you can do, even after completing the regular story. I'm still trying to get all of the badges, items, and completely fill the Noise index, and beat them on all difficulties. My favorite partner is probably going to have to be Joshua or Shiki, due to how easily they can build up stars. However, Beat has the coolest 3rd stage Fusion attack.

See with this game, I tried attempting to beat the game a few times, like first time i was like... how the hell do you place this game, then finally i gave up and like a month later i re-attempted but lost my game. But for the most part this game was actually pretty fun next to Kingdom Hearts :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

The pin collections were pretty interesting too i mean wayy too many doubles and stuff and leveling up sorta too a while but i mean the gameplay was pretty cool! I give it a 8/10

I actually just got it on Saturday for my birthday and I am LOVING it!!!! I like how I am finally forced to pay attention to both screens at onnce, that hasn't happened to me so far and it is refreshing.

Kingdom-Gaming, where up is down, down is triangle, and everybody hates Lexaeus.

See, that's what people seem to hate about the game. I think it makes the action feel more frantic, action packed, difficult, and fun. If it were both Players on one screen, it wouldn't be unique at all. Sure, it takes a while to learn, but it is very satisfying once you get the hang of it. Plus, it can serve as 2 player as well.

Gameplay boils down to ignoring the top screen as much as possible and wrecking noobs with neku on the bottom screen. Excellent game.

If you want any union attacks though, you have to play with the top screen as well.

Personally, my favorite partner is

TWEWY. Probably hands down one of the best games I've played. I kinda want a sequel but at the same time I don't. Sequels seem to ruin things to much. But I wouldn't mind playing the game over. and No not adjusting the level I mean from scratch.~

Personally, I really don't want a sequel, simply because everything that was once original and never done before will feel repetitive to veterans of the series. Plus, JRPG's are really not as popular as they used to be, which was probably a contributing factor as to why the first didn't sell that well. However, I do wish that they made more copies of the game and that people would actually buy it so it gets the large fan base it deserves.

I don't want a sequel, but a companion title would be nice. A similar but evolved gameplay system, and then a completely different setting and cast.

If they ever did make a sequel, the only character I can imagine them bringing back is Mr. Haneakoma and possibly Joshua. Neku, Shiki, and everyone already learned from the game, so they would be useless to have as the main characters or even a supporting role. Plus, at the end

I think it would work really well on the Wii U, as well. EITHER WAY, MY BUTT IS BUTTS.

Oh yeah, Wii U would be a brilliant idea too, but I would like to see it stay on handhelds. Also, if it's a sequel, I want it to be in a different location with different people if possible. Would it work since the twist of the story would be known? You can't retread the same old story, can you?
