For those of you wondering, TWEWY/IAWW takes place in the city of Shibuya, Japan, where you play as Neku. However, he is forced into a game called The Reapers Game, where Players, like Neku, are forced to partner up and fight for survival for a week. The winners get brought back to life, while the losers are erased.
So, anyone willing to discuss this game?

Kingdom-Gaming, where up is down, down is triangle, and everybody hates Lexaeus.
Any dolt with half a brain
Can see that humankind has gone insane
To the point where I don’t know
If I’ll upset the status quo
If I throw poison in the water main
Revenge is the poison we drink expecting our enemies to die.

I actually just got it on Saturday for my birthday and I am LOVING it!!!! I like how I am finally forced to pay attention to both screens at onnce, that hasn't happened to me so far and it is refreshing.
See, that's what people seem to hate about the game. I think it makes the action feel more frantic, action packed, difficult, and fun. If it were both Players on one screen, it wouldn't be unique at all. Sure, it takes a while to learn, but it is very satisfying once you get the hang of it. Plus, it can serve as 2 player as well.

Gameplay boils down to ignoring the top screen as much as possible and wrecking noobs with neku on the bottom screen. Excellent game.
If you want any union attacks though, you have to play with the top screen as well.
Personally, my favorite partner is

TWEWY. Probably hands down one of the best games I've played. I kinda want a sequel but at the same time I don't. Sequels seem to ruin things to much. But I wouldn't mind playing the game over. and No not adjusting the level I mean from scratch.~
Personally, I really don't want a sequel, simply because everything that was once original and never done before will feel repetitive to veterans of the series. Plus, JRPG's are really not as popular as they used to be, which was probably a contributing factor as to why the first didn't sell that well. However, I do wish that they made more copies of the game and that people would actually buy it so it gets the large fan base it deserves.

I don't want a sequel, but a companion title would be nice. A similar but evolved gameplay system, and then a completely different setting and cast.
If they ever did make a sequel, the only character I can imagine them bringing back is Mr. Haneakoma and possibly Joshua. Neku, Shiki, and everyone already learned from the game, so they would be useless to have as the main characters or even a supporting role. Plus, at the end

To right the countless wrongs of our day, we shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise. What a wonderful world such would be...
